The Langley Infant Development Program went on a field trip to @mygymlangley !
It was such a wonderful space with so many different activities designed to encourage motor development, coordination, body awareness, confidence, and — most importantly — lots of joy and fun.
We were also so grateful to have Physical Therapist Sara Zboya join us to share helpful tips and suggestions with families throughout the session.
My Gym Langley offers a variety of classes for children ages 3 months and up, and families can try them out with their 1-Week Guest Experience for just $20.
Thank you to all the families who came out and played, explored, and had fun with us — we loved spending time together with you and your children!

Langley’s annual CHILD Day was filled with smiles, laughter, play, and connection.
A heartfelt thank you to the volunteers, staff, agencies, vendors, and programs who came out to share their resources, services, programs, and products with families in our community.
We are also so grateful to the 450 adults and children who made CHILD Day part of their day. Thank you for helping make this free community event such a wonderful celebration for families with young children.
What a beautiful day of community connection.
Day 3 of Connected in Purpose wrapped with one of the most powerful moments of the conference — a parent panel that grounded all of our learning in lived experience. Their stories, honesty, and reflections reminded us why this work matters so deeply.
We’re still processing the many insights shared over the past few days. From relationships, to listening differently, to walking alongside families with greater intention — there is a lot to carry forward into practice.
A special thank you as well to Outside the Lines Visual Recording for capturing the spirit and key themes of the conversation through visuals. Seeing the learning come to life in real time helped us reflect in a whole new way.
To the families who shared their journeys: thank you for your generosity, your courage, and your partnership. You reminded us that connection is always at the heart of meaningful support.
More reflections to come as we continue to take it all in.
Day 2 of the Connected in Purpose Conference -
We were honoured to spend time learning from Dr. Louis Rossetti, whose insights into supporting young children and families grounded us in both practical strategies and the deeper purpose behind early intervention work. His reflections on relationship-based practice and responsive support resonated across the room.
At the same time, it was incredible to watch the learning come to life visually as Avril Orloff from Outside the Lines captured key ideas and themes in real time. Seeing our learnings take shape on the page added such a meaningful layer to the experience and created something we can carry forward beyond the day itself.
Thank you to everyone who leaned into the conversations, reflections, and connections that made today so impactful.

Day 1 of Connected in Purpose Provincial Conference - Advancing Early Intervention Practices for Families brought together 235 professionals from
across the province connected in purpose - a shared commitment to supporting children.
We were grateful to learn from @dr.vanessalapointe , whose keynote grounded us in the importance of relationship-based practice and reminded us why this work matters so deeply.
The conversations at the networking table conversations were filled with thoughtful questions, practical ideas, and genuine connection.
The viewing of @seendocumentary allowed us to reflect on how our early experiences shape the way we show up for the children we care for.
Looking forward to continuing the conversations tomorrow.
