🎾 Rolex Paris Masters, the largest indoor men's tennis tournament on the @atptour circuit, moved to @parisladefense_arena , the largest indoor arena in Europe designed by 2Portzamparc Architects. From 25 October to 2 November, this venue celebrates international tennis and was originally created as a multi-purpose structural engineering project.
In the original project, Incide played a crucial role in the structural design and assembly of the temporary steel structures that made it possible to install and lift the main roof.
This was a highly complex operation, carried out through:
📌 on-site design of the entire assembly of the structure;
📌 the use of one of the largest crawler cranes in Europe;
📌 a single lift of the roof using 12 strand jacks installed at the top of the structure;
📌 integrated coordination between all the companies involved.
This week, that same arena welcomed thousands of spectators and the best tennis players in the world: over 4,500 m² of playing surface, 5 courts, 37-metre-high blackout curtains with sound absorption capacity and a 17,500-seat centre court.

Il più grande torneo di tennis maschile indoor del circuito ATP, il Rolex Paris Masters , si gioca nella Paris La Défense Arena, la più grande arena indoor d’Europa. 🎾 Un luogo che dal 25 ottobre al 2 novembre celebra il tennis internazionale, ma che nasce come un'opera polivalente di ingegneria strutturale.
Nel progetto originario, Incide ha avuto un ruolo cruciale nella progettazione strutturale e nel montaggio delle strutture provvisorie in acciaio che hanno reso possibile la posa e il sollevamento della copertura principale.
Un intervento di alta complessità, realizzato attraverso:
📌un coordinamento integrato tra tutte le imprese coinvolte;
📌 la progettazione in cantiere dell’intero montaggio dell’opera;
📌 l’impiego di una delle gru cingolate più grandi d’Europa;
📌 un sollevamento unico della copertura tramite 12 strand jacks installati sulla sommità della struttura.

The theatre in Abano Terme (PD) has been reborn to create different scenarios of use: the new multi-purpose structure in the Urban Thermal Park is finally ready.
A sinuous steel and translucent membrane roof, capable of accommodating up to 600 spectators.
The heart of the project is its parametric design, which transforms complexity into a coherent balance between aesthetics, structure, architecture and nature.
