A little like the letters I write to Babka, this conversation and cover shoot began in one place and ended somewhere much more intimate. We came together to talk about The New Language of Impact and what began with power moved through friendship, paused at love, and settled on sincerity.
The space @hadise and @thebursin open for one another reminded me of something increasingly rare today: authenticity. The kind that does not need to announce itself, only to be felt. Because real impact no longer belongs to the loudest voice or the most visible presence. It lives somewhere quieter now; in energy, in character, in truth, and in the way someone stays with you.

@alexandramalenaleclerc is one of those women who knows what she carries and why. Not only how she looks, but how she holds herself. And those two are not the same; those who know, know.
In fact, this is exactly where the story of this issue begins: The New Language of Power. Once upon a time, power was a more exhausting thing. A little harsh, a little commanding, and perhaps a little too enamored with itself. It demanded attention the moment it entered a room, mistaking visibility for impact. Now, it speaks differently. It shows less, but makes you feel more. Smarter, calmer, more internal.
