As Pur Cunda prepares to open to public, we find ourselves having deeper reflections on how music is the antidote to fragmentation. Music operates as perhaps humanity’s most sophisticated technology for shared experience. Our heartbeats synchronize, our breathing aligns, and we inhabit a common emotional landscape. The experience transcends individual interpretation and creates genuine neurological harmony, which is the biological foundation for empathy and understanding that cuts through the intellectual barriers we construct around ourselves. Perhaps the most powerful thing we can replicate from music is not the technique or structure. It is having the faith in the possibility of unity without uniformity.

Milliyet Mimarlık Dergisi’nin yeni sayısında, tarihi doku ve yerel zanaat ile dünya standartlarındaki kayıt ortamını birlikte var etmek üzere, Ege’nin kalbi Cunda Adası’nda uluslararası ve yerel müzisyenlerle birlikte ortak yaratım süreciyle tasarlanan; butik otel ve kayıt stüdyosunu birleştiren, SOUR imzalı Pür projesi ele alınıyor. 2027 yılında gerçekleşecek Venedik Bienali Uluslararası Mimarlık Sergisi’nin küratörleri, Pritzker ödüllü Wang Shu ve ortağı Lu Wenyu ile “mimarlığın ölümüne” karşı bir direniş başlatmayı ve habitatımız üzerindeki ticarileşme baskısını kırmayı amaçlayan mimarlık pratikleri ve bienal teması üzerine gerçekleştirdiğimiz sohbeti Söyleşi bölümümüzde bulabilirsiniz.
Mimarlığın yerden kopuk bir kütle olmaktan çıkarak iklimsel, sosyal ve materyal gerçekliklerle müzakere eden aktif bir partnere dönüştüğü; duyular, yerel malzeme, mikro iklim ve kullanıcı deneyimiyle örülen, yerin özgün dinamiklerini tasarımın ana omurgası kılan dirençli ve nitelikli mimari pratikleri bu sayıdaki Dosya sayfalarımızda bir araya getirdik. PAB Mimarlık tarafından, çalışma mekanının ötesinde bir sosyal topluluk alanı olarak tasarlanan Doğuş Otomotiv Eğitim ve Gelişim Merkezi’ne İç Mimari sayfalarımızda yer verdik.
