London-based Japanese artist, @inagaky , dives into desire and the artificial side of city life. His faceless, black-clad figures feel almost post-human, and their stripped-back look nods to a culture blurred by constant connection.
SHANKAY is pleased to announce its participation in the special 20th anniversary edition of @ArtDubai 2026, taking place at Madinat Jumeirah from 15–17 May 2026.
For this occasion, the gallery will present works by @Inagaky (Japan), whose work reflects on the relationship between the city and its inhabitants, often through anonymous figures situated within contemporary urban life.
The presentation will also include works by Eduardo Enrique (Venezuela), Isaac Sullivan (USA), alongside a special presentation by guest artist Vhils aka Alexandre Farto (Portugal).
We look forward to welcoming you to Dubai for this landmark edition of the fair.
The inflatable dog was already great, but now I’ve got two large pieces nominated for separate Acquisition Prizes as well. I'm honestly speechless…
