I made this post a tad earlier as a reminder to have a great Mother’s Day Weekend! I wanted to make something special and as perfect as Mom, but I think I might have failed. Love you, #mamá!

One of my favorite motivated shots is the whip pan so I decided to shoot my own
We usually see 180° whip pans and rarely 360° But the 360° whip is extremely effective when needing to transition time quickly or on a low budget. Plus it’s easy to pull off. We simply trapped the character in place as the camera spun around the room, changing only her wardrobe, signaling the passage of time.

The @stayinla2025 movement has inspired me to fight for the industry I love very much. While many of us moved to Los Angeles, with a bag of dreams, it’s scary how many of my peers and colleagues are struggling to find work here in the center of it all, Hollywood.

Last Friday we had to say goodbye to Panavision Hollywood — It hurt, a lot. In between tears and hugs, we all remembered how lucky we were to be part of this family.
Panavision Hollywood took me when I first moved to Los Angeles. I found a community here that supported me in some of the most challenging years of my life. I solidified my confidence and knowledge in my career.
I am grateful for all the memories, the work, the clients we helped to make their vision come to life. Here on out, we pass the page but we’ll never forget where we came from.
