Today marks 2 years since my directorial debut film Ennaval hit the silver screen. I am proud and honoured to share that Ennaval has received its first international award in Toronto Tamil International Film Festival 2021 as the Best Crime Thriller Feature Film (Jury Award). Judged by the renowned juries such as Director Vetri Maaran, Director Ram, Actor M. Nassar, Actress Andrea Jeremiah, Filmmaker Prasanna Vithanage and Director Manobala, it's a heart warming moment to receive this prestigious award. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the TTIFF organisers and everyone who were part of Ennaval's success.😊🙏

My Review for Kambathu Ponnu series One word – HEARTFELT! ❤️🥹 Every character delivered emotional and powerful performances. The emotional scenes really touched my heart deeply 🥲👏🏽 The friendship bond between Jayshree akka, Pavetraa akka, James Anne & Kajenthiran Anne was so pure and beautifully portrayed ❤️ And the show stealers — Jayshree Akka! What a performance! Absolutely unforgettable and heart-stealing ⭐️❤️👏 Sai Kogila akka was strong in her role, while Shamini akka and dhivaviknishavenila akka comedy truly worked—funny and light-hearted when needed 🤣 At first, I found Shamini akka and Dhivaviknishavenila's akka characters a bit irritating, but as the series progressed, I grew to love them. Their comedy scenes became a true highlight! Dhinesh anne, David Sir, and Kishok Sir also stood out with their impactful presence 🔥 And the other characters also did a great job and added so much depth to the story 🌟👏 Huge appreciation for Director Saran Sir for handling the story with such depth and emotion 🎬 And the music? Wow—the title song and especially the BGM were absolutely beautiful 🎶 The background score added so much feeling and gave so many goosebump moments 💯 If I had one small suggestion—it would be for the climax to show a little more closure. We saw Jayshree’s akka happy ending, but I really hoped for an update on Dhinesh anne and Dhivaviknishvennila akka too. Overall: 9/10 ⭐ An emotional, funny, and memorable series with strong characters and beautiful music. Definitely worth watching! Kambathu Ponnu is now streaming on Astro On Demand!
