Parents and carers, you are not alone. Substance use among young people can be hard to understand and even harder to talk about. Sometimes the signs are missed, sometimes we see changes in behaviour and do not know where to turn. That is why we are pleased to be joining with @compasselevation_ and to support families in Harrow through a free practical workshop on Navigating Substance Use Amongst Our Young People. This is all thanks to the funding we have received from @theyoungharrowfoundation This is a space for real conversations, practical support and stronger families. We’ll be talking about understanding substance use and its impact on young people, spotting early signs and risks, how to start conversations with your child, where to access support and there will be open Q&A with experienced practitioners. If you are a parent or carer living or residing in Harrow, registered with a GP in Harrow or your child attends school in Harrow, this is for you.
