After my planned trip for my 30th birthday was cancelled because of the COVID epidemic, I finally got to Guatemala. The “Land of Eternal Spring” is just that — a beautiful, stunning, and magical place. If you’re looking for a cheap international trip with lots to do, this is the country for you. The video only shows my time at Lake Atitlan, with its three active volcanos. We also made a friend with a puppy who was obsessed with Brandon’s shoe laces.
100% this is going to be a yearly trip.

I made it to the White House! 🤩🇺🇸
Last week, I had the privilege of a lifetime and attended a White House meeting with state and community leaders from across Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. We heard from senior government officials about the investments being made into our states, but we also got to share how those have impacted us and what we need from this administration moving forward. It was an honor to not only represent my organization but LGBTQ+ Missourians.

Beyond proud to stand with LGBTQ+ advocates across St. Louis celebrating municipalities who are standing against hate from state governments. It is in these moments I know my shift into politics and advocacy was the right decision.
St. Louis has its flaws, but when we are proud of something… We. Show. Up.
Hundreds stayed through heavy rain, lightening, and thunder to support @stlsymphony — a gem of an orchestra.

Today, I’m pleased to announce I’ve joined the incredible team at @promomissouri as their new Director of Communications!
We have a lot of hate within this state that we have to combat and it is an honor I get to fight for the rights of all LGBTQ+ Missourians. We’ve hit the ground running the first day learning the history and the work that needs to be done. This move is one that is not only fueled by my own story but my partner’s, @rodigitee , my dear friend, @brianshadwick , and all my friends within Missouri and beyond who are part of this community. I’m dedicating my time to fight for us and each of our own stories that we have to tell.
After an incredible 1.5 years with the wonderful, badass women of @jasperpaulpr , I am moving onto a new position. If you’ve heard about any of our delicious restaurants, it is very likely this team is behind them. I’m happy to call each of them my friends and will always support this woman-owned business.
Where am I going next? For now, only certain people know as I begin a two-week journey of reconnecting with friends, family, and myself. As I turned 32 on Friday, just days ago, here’s to the newest chapter of my life.
