We want to give a huge shout out to MSU’s student run radio station @impact89fm WDBM! Impact played a major role in the early days of Stoopfest and we’re grateful for their continued support!
WDBM in its current form has been broadcasting since 1989. All MSU students are welcome to volunteer and work at the station! The Stoopfest crew highly recommends students check out the wide variety of creative opportunities including DJing, audio engineering, shooting and editing professional in-studio performances or interviews, marketing, and covering all 23 Spartan sports teams as a part of one of the largest student-run sports media outlets in the country.
Impact offers a place for any student of any major with any career aspirations to flourish in a creative, professional, fun and award-winning atmosphere. Check out Impact89fm.org for more information on getting involved and supporting college radio.
On the final episode of the Green and White Report of the year, @thejoedez , @jackdav.d , and @oscar.henderson rifle through the most callers in GW history and say goodbye to the show and the station.

Earlier in April, the MSU Museum brought National Poetry Month to life with the “Blurred Realities” poetry slam. Drawing inspiration from the museum’s “Blurred Realities” exhibition, the event encouraged audiences to consider how truth is shaped and distorted in a world of AI and digital manipulation.
The evening was led by nationally acclaimed poets Natasha T. Miller and Mahogany L. Browne, and featured additional performances from local poets and MSU students.
Many student poets said performing alongside nationally recognized writers pushed them to think differently about their own voice.

Democratic candidate for Michigan Senate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed held a campaign rally in MSU’s Anthony Hall on April 7. The event featured prominent leftist and online personality Hasan Piker, Rep. Summer Lee (D-Pa.) and MSU student Josh Reformado as guest speakers.
El-Sayed’s choice to feature Piker in his campaign has been met with media controversy due to Piker’s status as an adamant anti-Zionist and contentious leftist streamer on Twitch.
