I have been married to this brilliant man for one year today! Which also means one year has passed since this most gloriously unexpected sunny day. Thank you to our beautiful friends and family for helping us celebrate by picking flowers, playing music, reading poems, ringing bells, baking cakes, and dancing and drinking the night away. After many years, many tears, and countless drafts, I graduated with a PhD in English Literature yesterday, having successfully defended the work last May. I couldn’t have done any of it without my dear supervisor, Anna, who has been an inspiration and the wisest and kindest mentor I could have asked for, and my lovely husband, sweet family and incredible friends. Thank you all for putting up with me and listening to me ramble on about sound for so many years. Stay tuned x
