We couldn’t agree more with @immerseinwithakshat who took us on an incredible journey from McLaughlin to Maestro Zakir Hussain —and many more musicians in between— for our inaugural in-person Vinyl Talkies.
Through his massive record collection, Akshat explored the interplay of Indian Classical music with jazz. He offered lessons in history, musicology, politics, language and culture that both celebrated the uniqueness of each genre and highlighted our oneness as a global society.
Thank you to Akshat, Shilpa and their kids for opening up their home for this unique experience. We know there was a lot of interest and are looking forward to a future Vinyl Talkies!

Through the warm, authentic crackle of original LPs, music archivist Akshat Chaturvedi will weave a narrative that spans decades—from classical roots to bold cinematic experiments.
