Last night was the beginning of an amazing @immersefest weekend put on by @creativecityproject in downtown Orlando! If you missed it, come on out tonight from 5pm-11pm because it is an epic evening of art, music, dance, and interactive entertainment all 100% free to the public! This is literally one of the coolest events in Orlando and it’s wild how much pure, raw, talent is packed into a few downtown city blocks! I have the pleasure of being a part of the Emmy award winning @actifycreative media team this year working alongside some of the most talented and kind creatives in the game here in Fl. Thanks to @colenesmith@herbmaximo@charlesschuett and @tyler_kerpsack for bringing me on, and stay tuned for more soon from tonight!!!!
Immerse Fest ended today with daytime fireworks around Lake Eola. The weekend celebrated over 170 artists and art organizations in downtown Orlando. Can’t wait until next year! If you attended, tell us in the comments your favorite part of the weekend.
Confirmed. You all had an amazing time at @immersefest day 2, presented by @adventhealthcfl in @dwntwn_orlando . Massive thank you to every artist, every guest, @thecitybeautiful and @ocfl . What a beautiful picture of our creative spirit! And such a joy to come together in the streets and public spaces of the city!
So why does this matter? What difference does it make if @thecitybeautiful maintains its position as the number one tourist destination in the country? Did you know that tourism is one of the reasons your favorite arts organizations and events exist? You’ve probably heard of the Tourist Development Tax. It’s a 6% tax applied to hotel stays. And the leadership at @ocfl remains committed to investing a portion of those funds in art and culture. That expands what Central Florida is known for the world over. And it gives us residents world class art and culture to enjoy all year long. It also ensures our theaters and performances venues exist and are maintained. @immersefest is one of hundreds of experiences that simply wouldn’t exist without TDT funding. And because of TDT, IMMERSE, presented by @adventhealthcfl , was able to pay out more than $1million to creative professionals in 2026. Thanks to the ongoing work of @visitorlando in helping us shape our city as “Creative City, USA.”
Often imitated. Never duplicated. @creativecityproject@immersefest Fest, presented by AdventHealth Central Florida, has been setting the standard in public art festivals for almost a decade and a half. Cities around the country look to IMMERSE as a catalyst for community transformation, economic development and cultural tourism.
But there’s a key to the festival’s success. @thecitybeautiful is “Creative City, USA.” We are home to tens of thousands of creative professionals. That resource, comibined with @ocfl commitment to invest in art and culture through our Tourist Development Tax, is a special recipe for success.
IMMERSE is only one part of an overall ecosystem. And it wouldn’t be successful without the existence of a thriving arts community. And then, as we gather that arts community in @dwntwn_orlando at one time, we elevate the global perception of our city as one known for incredible art, stellar performance and one-of-a-kind festivals.
After a year of planning, preparation, rehearsals and hard work, @mesh.ent finally brings it all to life at @immersefest in @dwntwn_orlando - presented by @adventhealthcfl . Our documentary series, “IMMERSE: Making the Moment” has followed this team through the process. We’re proud of how it all came together! Bravo!
It’s showtime. So much prep goes into a performance. And then the time comes. Follow Kenny as @mesh.ent takes all the preparation, passion and hard work and makes it real at @immersefest 2025, presented by @adventhealth in @dwntwn_orlando
