“YOU HAVE ANOTHER MISSION” ~ IOC 1-26
Eleven weeks at the Infantry Officer Course: long days, longer nights, and a standard that doesn’t care how tired or fatigued you are.. A small price to pay to receive the privilege of leading/serving a pack of absolute savages. Still plenty to learn, but I’m hungry and excited to come home to nyc and start my time as a platoon commander.
HYROX PRO DOUBLES NYC 2025✅
My body feels broken down, but for some reason, I already can’t wait to do it all over again in nyc next year. With everything going on and the demands of my new job, it’s been tough to make it out to these things as often as I’d like. But I’ve learned that showing up, even when it’s hard, is what makes the difference. Shoutout to my brother Frank for helping me stay as consistent as possible on my weekends off and reminding me to stay down to my roots and hobbies🗽🏋🏾♂️
Today I completed one of the largest half marathons in New York City! Originally, I planned to take it easy since I have a PFT on Tuesday. But after the first mile, my mind pushed me to go 100%, and I unexpectedly hit a PR!!!!…..let alone at 200 lbs!!!😭 I’m beyond grateful to see how much progress I’ve made over the past 4 years of my running journey. Looking forward to the day I get to run the @nycmarathon
