EPHEMERAL | OUT NOW
I am eternally grateful for the many many MANY opportunities
@millenniumstrike has given me. Since I got to go to one of their live events last year in Chicago, I knew I'd found a community I would forever call home. I moved mountains to make sure I could make it to their live shows this year in Texas (photos by

@dsktpgeneration that let me stay with them, being able to finally meet y'all was such a pleasure and made the weekend so special. After getting to see all of my friends, spend time in a new place, and witness so many artists share their passions all in one weekend, I find I always leave these events so inspired to push myself and create something new.
My favorite tradition by far is the yearly Demo Disc compilation. Everyone in the community is invited to make a song and send it in. No limits on genre, skill level, or how big those silly numbers next to your name are, just community members boosting each other up. It's incredibly encouraging and I'm honored to be able to experiment with a genre of music I've only dipped my toes into before: trance. It was freeing being able to step away from the pressure of making the "coolest noises" and allow those to fully be an afterthought. I was able to step back and make something beautiful that expresses something that I've wrestled with for years.
It's out everywhere now, and is a free download along with the rest of the compilation on Millennium Strike's Bandcamp. Show love to everyone on this comp, they've all got plenty to say for themselves. <3
