I toured in Current Joys for the majority of my early 20’s - I played my first shows ever in that band. The closest I had gotten to playing a show was busking outside of Starbucks in my hometown lol. When I moved to LA I knew I wanted to make music my career but I had no idea how that would even be possible - When I met Nick everything started to feel within reach and he became my example of how to build a career that is meaningful. I learned everything I know about touring, playing shows, moving in the industry with integrity and honestly just pursuing music in general from Current Joys. Playing in that band changed my life and I would 10000% be nowhere close to where I am today without it - so this is a sweet full circle moment. NICK I LOVE U SORRY FOR BEING SAPPY
