This week for the 27th iteration of our In-House set podcast, @imdm____ presents his selection of dark, hypnotic techno that is sure to lock you into any task, may it be spreadsheets or a shower. French-born, IMDM explores dark, hypnotic landscapes through gritty textures, driving rumbles, and sci-fi atmospheres. Influenced by labels like PoleGroup and MORD, he approaches techno as both a physical and political medium, using it as a platform to channel tension, question society, and express a constant sense of rebellion. We are pleased to have IMDM showcase his unique sound design for the next VA release ‘Salt Patterns’ for @intri.nsik called ‘Fonda’. A France native who has spent meaningful time in both Asia and Latin America, IMDM channels the complex mix of nostalgia, longing, excitement, and self-discovery that comes with leaving home in search of something deeper.
