It’s still hard to believe my piece was finally recognized across the globe. It feels like such an honour to witness my work selected for the Junebug Weddings’ 2025 Best of the Best Wedding Photo Collection Top 50 Finalist for the first time! This might be the most meaningful Christmas gift I’ve ever received, a comforting reward after an entire year of hard work, and a new milestone in my career.

Thank you to my wonderful couple Alex & Michelle for having me in Japan and giving me the joy of capturing this. This set of photos allowed me to see a different side of Mount Fuji, which is what made the images so special. And not forgetting our makeup artist @rosettieyin who journeyed with us and trying hard to feed the swans!
By God’s grace, the sacrifices I’ve made—the effort, resources, and even time with my wife—were all worth it for this honour. And I won’t stop here. Thank you to my wife for quietly supporting my dreams. I love you.
