മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ആരാകണമെന്ന് തീരുമാനിക്കുന്നത് തികച്ചും കോൺഗ്രസിന്റെ ആഭ്യന്തര കാര്യമാണ്. ഈ നാട്ടിലെ ജനങ്ങൾ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയെ അല്ല, ഒരു പാർട്ടിയെയാണ്. സ്വാഭാവികമായി യോഗ്യതയുള്ള ആളുകൾ ഒന്നിലധികം ഉണ്ടാകുമ്പോൾ ചര്ച്ചകളും അഭിപ്രായ വ്യത്യാസങ്ങളും ഒക്കെ സംഭവിക്കാം. അത് അവർ ജനമധ്യത്തിൽ അല്ല ചെയ്യുന്നത്; അവരുടെ സ്വന്തം പ്ലാറ്റ്ഫോമുകളിലാണ്. അതിനെ ജനമധ്യത്തിലേക്ക് വലിച്ചിഴക്കുന്നത് മീഡിയയാണ്! കോൺഗ്രസ് ആദ്യമേ നയം വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നല്ലോ — മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി എന്ന തരത്തിൽ ഒരു വ്യക്തിയെ പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് ചെയ്യില്ലെന്ന്.
‘അണികൾ’ എന്ന പേരിലുള്ള ചേരി തിരിഞ്ഞുള്ള അപഹാസ്യങ്ങൾ ഒഴിച്ചുനിർത്തിയാൽ, അതൊരു ആരോഗ്യകരമായ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ചര്ച്ചയായി കാണാനും നമ്മൾ പഠിക്കണം. VDS, RC, KC — ഇവരിൽ ആരായാലും നല്ലൊരു ഭരണം ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെയെന്ന് പ്രത്യാശിക്കാം. ഒരു പാർട്ടിയുടെ എം.എൽ.എമാരും നേതൃത്വവും ചേർന്ന് എടുക്കേണ്ട തീരുമാനത്തെ നമ്മൾ എന്തിനാണ് അസഹിഷ്ണുതയോടെ കാണുന്നത്?
സമയം കൊടുക്കൂ. തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കേണ്ടത് പ്രബുദ്ധ മലയാളികളെ നയിക്കേണ്ട ഒരാളെയല്ലേ? അതിന് ആവശ്യമായ ചര്ച്ചകൾ നടക്കട്ടെ. നല്ലതിനായി കാത്തിരിക്കാം!!
അപ്പോഴും ഒരു കാര്യം പറയാതെ വയ്യ — KC ആണ് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയാകേണ്ടതെന്ന ആഗ്രഹവും ആശയവും അദ്ദേഹത്തിനുണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ, ജനാധിപത്യ രീതിയിൽ മത്സരരംഗത്ത് നിന്ന് ജയിച്ചിട്ട് ആകാമായിരുന്നു. അത്രമാത്രം!

Watched Pallichattambi — absolutely loved it! I honestly don’t understand why it’s getting mixed reviews. It’s a beautifully crafted film, and I strongly feel this is @dijojoseantony ’s best work so far.
Brilliant script by Suresh babu, complemented by a beautiful score. And last but not least, @tovinothomas delivers a top-notch performance — what charisma! We can truly be proud to have an actor like Tovino.
