I don’t shoot as often these days, but when I do, it has to mean something.

Side Quest Complete 🎮🥋
This past weekend I stepped into my first martial arts tournament as an adult… and as a WHITE BELT 😅
And yup… I was the only one in the entire tournament.
Threw myself into a 35+ yrs old Intermediate Division full of higher belts, learned my kata in just a few weeks, leaned heavy on my dance background… and somehow fought my way to a 2nd place tie breaker 🥈
Also walked in a little banged up… because you know, that’s just part of the 40+ experience and life 😂
But no excuses, still showed up and gave it everything I had.
So proud of our squad @4impactmartialarts and everyone who stepped out there and competed 👏
Huge thank you to Uncle Jon and Auntie Jana for the push and motivation to do this.
And honestly… best part of the whole day was seeing our son Micah and Margela in the crowd ❤️
Pretty sure my little guy was proud of his dad… and that meant everything.

Back on the judging panel for @worldofdance . Big thank you to @worldofdance_usa for the continued invitation. It’s always an honor to be part of the judging panel and to share the stage with so many talented dancers and artists. As always, I’m drawn to originality, presence, and strong execution. Bring your perspective, stay intentional, and let the performance speak for itself. Most importantly, make us feel something. Wishing all the teams the best this weekend. I can’t wait to see what everyone brings to the stage. I’ll also be performing a headlining set with some of the @redefinedanceco Board of Directors and special guests. See you there!
