I've been saving this one for a few weeks and excited to share it. After visiting Crater Lake for over a decade, I finally got to see a colorful sunset. Coupled with snow it was the most amazing sight I've witnessed in all my adventures to Oregon. The oddest part was not a soul in sight except me and @jettthelab because it was 29 degrees and windy that night š. I'll never forget this sunset!

Rest easy my sweet boy. š Iām heartbroken and completely lost right now as I share that Jett passed peacefully on Saturday. I had the best 13 + years with him sharing dozens of adventures. He got to see 10 national parks and many other beautiful places where he got to swim or run around the snow. There are so many good memories with him as he was my companion and work mate since he was a puppy. This day snuck on me rapidly as he was diagnosed with late stage kidney disease early last week and his body just couldnāt handle it anymore. š„ŗ
Thank you to everyone who has watched my journey with him over the years and got to see what a happy and beautiful pup he was. He was the absolute best dog ever and my heart hurts so much without him by my side.
If you have a furbaby please give them an extra hug from me tonight. š
The Presidio holds a special place in my heart. Not only is it rich in history but I had the pleasure of working there a few years ago .
It was a military post in 1776 and played a significant role in every major conflict through Desert Storm. In 1994 it joined the national park system. Today itās being targeted by the new administration. Iām devastated to see that theyāve set their targets on such a beloved and historic place in San Francisco. My hope is that if enough people show their outrage of this proposed order they will leave it alone. š„ŗ
