In the era of post-truth, every image, voice, or piece of data presents itself as evidence; yet carries an inherent doubt: is it real, artificial, or constructed to appear so? Verification often dissolves into the impossibility of distinguishing authenticity from simulation.
“Real or Cake?” inhabits this perceptual gap, turning uncertainty into a sensory experience and questioning the mechanisms through which we assign credibility.
Between fragments of reality and fiction, truth does not emerge as a fixed fact, but as a continuous tension between what we see, who we trust, and what we are willing to accept as real.
