…coming back into the outward flow ✨ I took a little social media break, & a bit of a DJ break too, to unplug & JUST BE for bit. Our high season in Hawaii is in the winter, so it’s usually super busy, & this past winter was no exception. Now feeling refreshed, super inspired & excited to reconnect again. For those not on island, I will be sharing a couple of new mixes soon & some writings that Ive been working on after that, so thanks for staying connected with me, instagram fam!
 I’ll be playing at my bae Kalani Oceanside Retreat this Sunday and really looking forward to sharing the journey to those of you here in Hawaii. I almost forgot another Coachella Imagika Om moment! ✨ Lucent Dossier performed to my track Maat Magick on the Sahara Stage in 2016 with the frequency fully embodied in 3D. I originally created this track for the Great Convergence in Egypt, when I played there in 2012, then soon after I collaborated with Atla & Lucent Dossier that took it to a whole other level through the years. I loved the way it evolved & expanded beyond my wildest dreams. I also just realized this track went from the Sahara Desert in Egypt to the Sahara stage at Coachella. I DJed at Coachella 5 times! But there’s more… I grew up near Coachella when it first started, back when it felt more like a desert offshoot of Lollapalooza trying to be Burning Man. It was magic, close to home, & I was always involved in some way… I went about 11 or 12 times, just in the flow. One year my sis even won free tickets on the radio! At first I was playing around with different performance groups, like in 2001 played around with Mystic Family Circus when they were collaborating with Perry Farrell, who was my favorite growing up. Back then, he was around a lot… it was so sweet, & there were Tesla coils, Burning Man installations… Coachella was loving the vibes, it felt wild, fun, fresh, & alive. Then I DJed for the Do LaB in 2006–2009, & again in 2012. Lucent Dossier Experience was also around then too, spreading their special magic too, the vibe was unique, intimate, cozy… our underground world inside a growing giant. I loved playing bass & breaks for people who had never even heard that kind of music before, then wandering off to catch music legends. Faves like Björk, Prince, Dead Can Dance, Portishead, Nine Inch Nails, Jane’s Addiction, Spiritualized, Sigur Rós… so many musical highlight moments. I only have video from one year (thank you Electric Dandelion), from around 2009. No smartphones, no influencers, just people in it. Now it’s a whole different machine. If I were going this year, i’d probably check out Nine Inch Noize, Mestiza, & FKA twigs… but I don’t feel much FOMO, just gratitude. So grateful I got to be part of a very special time. Be a light for those who have lost sight of their own. Last weekend’s equinox with Desert Dwellers at Kalani cracked something open inside me. ✨ I ended up with a folder of 180 photos and videos this is just the top picks in horizontal orientation. The vertical ones and more vids coming soon… This show was extra special because it was my first official production assistant role working with Om Evolution. Big thanks to @imagikaom for having me out and trusting me with such a big role. I see a bright future of epic media and music magic on the horizon for us. 🌈 Those of you who have known me for a while know that I absolutely love chasing random light leaks, dancing between backstage shadows and rainbow magic spotlighting epic artists for the amplification of healing on this planet. 🌺 Feeling this new era of my own life deeply while watching the new era of @desert_dwellers_music unfold with @sarkis.mikael x @treavormoontribe felt like a synchronistic confirmation. We are all moving through powerful rebirths right now. It is more important than ever that we offer our gifts to our communities. The world needs your light. As I have been processing and praying for the world in all that has been revealed. While I know that I haven't been blind to what we are seeing in a more transparent way now.. I've held these prayers before. What is clear is that the current exposures demonstrate the ill powers behind closed doors. The powers that disgust us light bearers who will be actually addressing those who need to be confronted. I am sure there is both public address/avoidance of it, and much we can't see that is happening. So I celebrate the fire that burns within us, the power of our creative force and flow.. in the purity of our dance, our every moment of movement, of speech and thought... Ix Chel and Tonantzin brought forth a beautiful vision I had been dreaming of for some time—the knowing that it is our combined effort that will make the difference. For our closing cacao ceremony at Manafest 2026, @imagicaom and I were honored to co-lead a sacred offering, joined by dear family and friends. We were guided by a simple and powerful truth: it takes a village. To serve cacao to hundreds of people in honor of our lineage, with Ix Chel present in spirit, felt deeply meaningful. It was a living prayer—one that reflects what so many of us Mexicanas know in our bones: we are stronger united. It is rare for me to have the opportunity in Hawai‘i to gather with my Indigenous sisters in this way. So when those moments arrive, I hold them with deep reverence and gratitude. May we continue to remember who we are, where we come from, and how powerful we become when we walk together—in ceremony, in service, and in love. — Amma Sophia Rose 🌹

✨ I’ll be playing ManaFest this year, alongside so many incredible women musicians, teachers, and creators.
