The dreamiest Tuesday ever!!!!
Today, I celebrated the 20th anniversary of my 17th birthday 🤭. I don’t take this life for granted b/c only God knows all the trials I’ve had to overcome to get me here. God has been kind to me (despite the fact that I, sometimes, act like a stiff-necked Israelite 🤧). They say “tomorrow is not promised,” but I’m grateful He promised me today…it was magnificent 🥹. Thank you to those of you who wished me a happy birthday. And an extra thank you to all my siblings (both here & in Nigeria) for making today feel extra special. When I count my blessings, I count all 7 of them 1000 times.

This past year has been a journey of self-rediscovery, of growth, & of obedience to God.
You see, when you wake up to the soul-crushing revelation that everything you believed to be true (about yourself & those you deeply cherished) is but mere fallacies, it feels as though the rug has been pulled from underneath you. In my case, instead of just falling to the ground, it felt as if I was trapped in an unending abyss, free-falling, with no knowledge of when (or if) I would ever feel the ground again.
During that time, I questioned everything: my identity, my relationships, even the essence of life. My reality became so distorted that I couldn’t trust myself or others. But one notion remained true: I could TRUST God. While I was ‘free-falling,’ it felt as though I was floating—like a comforting presence was carrying me & giving me tangible proof that I could TRUST in Him (especially in those moments where my faith wavered).
I am now in a season where I can feel the ground beneath me once again and all glory and honor belongs to Yahweh.
