My boy Pablo turns 5 today! I can’t believe I’m lucky enough to have this little goblin in my life. He’s chaotic and a little menace sometimes but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I wanted to share this last photo of the intricate beadwork the voladores wear. Their outfit, consisting of mostly red and white has beautiful beadwork. Hoping to get more photos of these performers on my next trip to the festival. Definitely need to do some proper portraits.

Being in Aguascalientes during the Ferias de San Marcos was awesome. I had always wanted to see the Danza de Los Voladores. So getting to see it at night and the morning after was pretty rad! It was impressive seeing the five of them climb the pole 30 meters up and descend with just ropes to guide them down.
Made sure to pickup a hat while out in Aguascalientes. Tried on a few and funny enough ended up with the same style/cut as the tejana I inherited from my grandpa.
Last year I had the chance to go back to where my family is from, Aguascalientes, Mexico. Being there for work, I only had a short window of time to walk around and visit the places I used to as a kid. Always loved going to this market and eating here with my aunts & uncles.
