I think this is my personal record of making a skirt (FROM SCRATCH) in as little time as possible. Brainchild of @stephygalvani
In the last vid there’s some of the draping process. Proud of this one!
❤️
This one had been in the works for a while.
Corset of white cotton broderie anglaise, marquisette backing, satin boning channels, underwires, metal spiral boning, eyelets and gros-grain
I wanted to make a corset that had some unusual challenges such as diagonal or curved boning (because I rarely see that in corsetry and wanted to put it to the test), and an underbust cut-out
It was a labour of love

The last few years it’s become a little tradition to help my mother with her work at the local church. Even though she’s an atheist, as is the rest of my family, this church has played a pivotal role in our lives.
December is always a time for reflection and upon spending some time with my thoughts I realized this year felt strangely calm. The last decade I have spent every year dealing with grief, almost every year a family member died and many of their memorial services were held in this church. I looked back upon this year and noticed I had not lost anybody, strange to admit to be happy about an uninterrupted year.
A year where I was lucky to place full focus on myself, my surroundings, my friends and my work.
If there was any theme this year, it must have been commitment.
For someone who can kill her brainspace with endless encertainty and doubt, my perseverance has made me feel like I finally pulled the long end of the stick.
I’ve been consistently training in the gym, I have reached new heights in my career, I travelled to beautiful places for work and worked with incredibly talented people. Then decided to follow a final course for which I got a scholarship to aid me in my training to become a modéliste. I started solo travelling again (and it was the best and most rewarding trip in years!!)
Rarely was there ever a year where I felt this loved and where I had this much fun.
I’m so grateful of where I am, and am welcoming what is to come.
The song on the video was not my song of choice but I like the idea of not messing with the soundtrack that was given in the moment (and my mother is so cute when she sings)
Kisses to all!!
Since I always forget to post my work on my feed, here’s a first toile of a corset I’m working on. Instead of just sewing straight channels to fit the boning I wanted to challenge myself with sewing curved tunnels and adding a very thin spiral boning (5mm)
first time trying to add cups and underwire (not part of the images), learning new stuff feels amazingly refreshing
The backpiece with eyelets and lacings is not attached yet either but I’ll try to post when developing further
Some ultra dark photos but that’s on having a dark apartment in winter
Kisses!
This fashionweek with Cardi was crazy, crazy good!
So grateful to have been included and to have had a seat at Stephane Rolland, Ashi Studios, a peak at Balenciaga and a memorable time at Maison Margiela.
