The Reeve Summit in Boston was truly amazing bringing together community, care, and innovation in such a powerful way.
It was inspiring to see so many passionate people come together to share ideas, build connections, and continue pushing progress forward.
Thank you to everyone who made it such a meaningful event. Already looking forward to the next one!

In 1990 2 years after my accident I remember driving to Boston to meet Bob Hall and get fitted for my first racing chair.
He led the way for individuals like me to participate and have amazing equipment which he designed
This picture is me doing my first New York City marathon in the chair that he built for me. Rest in peace and thank you for leading the way.

It's hard to believe that we lost you 8 years ago today. What you taught me and so many others about how to treat people and to give back is the most valuable lesson that I keep with me always., "Because that is what we do ".
When I hear from people about the impact you made on their lives through your friendships and your very quiet way of helping always brings a smile to my face and a tear to my eye at the same time.
I feel you around me all of the time and it helps me get through the times. I know you are looking down at all of us and watching over us.
We are officially ONE MONTH AWAY from our Reeve Connect fundraiser at Giselle Miami!
The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation is excited to bring our community together for an inspiring evening as we continue pushing our mission forward advancing research and improving quality of life for individuals and families living with spinal cord injury.
We can’t wait to see so many familiar faces and welcome new friends who believe in hope, progress, and possibility. Your support helps us drive meaningful impact for the paralysis community every single day.
Mark your calendars, spread the word, and get ready for a powerful night at Giselle Miami.
Let’s make it unforgettable.

"Happy Birthday, Sam Brown ! It's hard to believe you are 23 today. Having you in my life is the biggest gift.
Continue to be who you are and chase your dreams. I love you.
The past couple of days at the Neuromodulation of Spinal Cord Injury Conference at the @univmiami have been incredibly inspiring. To be in a room with so many brilliant researchers, clinicians, and advocates all focused on advancing treatments for spinal cord injury was truly powerful.
The amount of research happening in this field right now is nothing short of amazing. After 38 years, seeing so many promising treatments and real momentum for our community is deeply emotional. What once felt impossible is now being seriously studied, tested, and advanced and that gives real hope for the future.
It’s also incredibly meaningful to see how deeply involved the @reevefoundation and is on so many levels helping to convene, support, and push this important work forward for the spinal cord injury community.
Grateful to be part of these conversations and to witness firsthand how far we’ve come and how much further we’re going.
Last night, the Christopher & Dana @reevefoundation hosted a networking event at @Shake -A-Leg Miami, bringing together an incredible community committed to advancing quality of life and progress for individuals living with paralysis.
We heard a powerful research update from Dr. Marco Battista, learned more about the impact of our National Paralysis Resource Center, and heard from four of our Quality of Life grantees: The Impossible Dream, FIU University, Shake-A-Leg Miami, and the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis.
The evening was a true reminder of what’s possible when people come together with shared purpose, passion, and heart.
Happy 28th birthday to Max! Watching you grow into the person you are today has been such a gift.
You’re not only an amazing son but also a true friend to so many. I’m beyond proud of the person you’ve become.
Here’s to another year of laughter, love, and all the adventures ahead!
38 years ago, for my birthday, I had surgery to repair the broken vertebrae in my neck.
It is hard to believe that today I turn 59 years old. I have been blessed with so many amazing things in my life from my family, friends, my brothers, and sisters living with spinal cord injuries and so much more.
Thank you to everybody who has been on this journey with me and look forward to so many more memories.
I can’t believe it's my 59th birthday. and I’ve never been more excited about what the future holds.
This year, my biggest wish is simple: to keep pushing forward, lifting up our community, and helping others in any way I can. If you feel inspired to join me, I’d be so grateful if you’d consider making a donation to the March 19th event in Miami.
We haven’t had a party for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation in five years, and I know many of you remember just how amazing those nights were. This one is shaping up to be just as unforgettable.

Thank you for being part of my journey — I can’t wait to celebrate and make a difference together!
The NHL Foundation’s GO FORWARD! event raised critical support for spinal cord injury research and care — and for families navigating life after injury every day. Our own Alan T. Brown, Director, New Partner Engagement, attended the event. Because of nights like this, progress moves faster. We’re proud to stand alongside partners who believe, as we do, that SCI should not define what comes next. Together, we go forward. @NHL and @NHLunites .
