Congratulations to @lexamillionstudio on completing her capstone project, a series, “In Plain Sight, Just Beyond Reach,” which she describes as, “A series of whimsical gouache illustrations paired alongside narrative poems. Each illustration holds allegorical weight, much like how dreams carry messages from the subconscious. Often my poems will leave the story on an unsettling cliffhanger that leaves the reader questioning, much like traditional fables.“

“The Secret to Making Perfect Ice Cream is a story that my dad and I have been writing together since I was a kid. The children’s book is inspired by the joke that “of course, chocolate milk comes from brown cows”. It tells of the shenanigans and happenings of Farmer Bill and his farm of different-flavored cows (and a collection of other animals), making the best ice cream in the world for Ice Cream Maker Chris through a series of letters for each flavor.”
