We absolutely love this quote from Alice Chapman @alicechapmanphotography Some photographs aren’t meant to feel timeless. They’re meant to feel true. The trends, the colors, the clothes, the way your kids laugh right now, the way this season of life looks before it changes again. We’re creating little nostalgia time bombs - photographs that will someday explode with memory, emotion, and the feeling of what today was really like. ✨

I rarely take on family sessions - but I just couldn’t resist these two. Are you a family photographer - what’s your favorite thing about it?? x bec (co-owner at Illuminate Classes)

Love every word of this and you can hear the passion in his voice. Excerpt from an interview broadcast by the BBC in 1969, on the program The Visual Scene, episode "Playing it Cool." The speaker is the British art critic David Sylvester (1924-2001), known for his work as an art historian and critic in the 20th century and for interviews with artists such as Francis Bacon. We absolutely love this testimonial from Dale of @merakitreasuredmoments Make sure to check out all her gorgeous work! What was your main takeaway from Exploring Macro? There is so much beauty and nuance in the little details of flowers, water drops, everyday objects that we look past so easily. Exploring macro helped me be more creative and innovative with my composition and approach and to slow down and make small adjustments to lighting, angle, composition, and settings and to see how dramatically those little adjustments make in macro. I have always loved flowers but have grown a deeper appreciation for their beauty and intricacy through practicing macro. Tiffany is so incredibly talented photographer and did a wonderful job teaching and guiding us through the course. I cannot wait to continue to explore macro and practice the skills I learned in her course.

What if the most interesting part of your scene is something you’ve been walking past? In Exploring Macro Photography, Tiffany Kelly invites you to slow down and notice the details... the textures, light, and quiet moments that often go unseen. Macro isn’t just about getting closer. It’s about seeing differently. In this class, you’ll learn how to: • find compelling subjects in everyday spaces • work with light, depth, and focus creatively • create abstract, artistic images • turn small details into something meaningful This is your chance to reconnect with curiosity and create in a way that feels fresh again. 📷 Class starts May 4 If you’ve been craving a creative shift… this might be it.
