Material palettes have the power to shape how people feel within a space, creating connection, comfort and a sense of belonging through thoughtful interior design.
Hosted by @materialsource , Material Moods: Belonging explored ten creative interpretations of the theme, with designers and students translating ideas through colour, texture, tactility and layered material schemes.
From calming, nature-inspired palettes to richer tactile concepts designed to encourage interaction and emotional connection, the session highlighted how materiality can influence the experience of commercial interiors.
Warmth, softness and sensory experience emerged as key themes throughout , shaping spaces where people feel comfortable to gather, reflect and simply be themselves.
We were pleased to support the workshop, with ILIV samples featured across a number of the creative schemes developed during the session.

Wellness Week Wrap-Up 🌿
It’s been fantastic to see our teams across the UK and overseas come together to prioritise wellbeing, connection, and a bit of friendly competition.
From energetic padel matches to moments of calm in a mindful sound bath, our colleagues embraced a wide range of activities designed to support both body and mind. We also enjoyed yoga sessions led by Sonata, along with local walks that gave everyone the chance to get outdoors and recharge.
A big thank you to everyone for getting involved and making the week such a success. It’s a great reminder of the importance of taking time to reset, reconnect, and support one another.
