HOUSE and VISION are both part of me that I've manifested into design/clothing, where my skillset and execution are finally leveling off with the ideations in my head. For the past several years, I made a conscious decision to put effort into maintaining my Japanese speaking and reading skills. I found @daiki_deai last year on a site called Preply where you can linkup with tutors who basically help you with learning or maintaining your speaking skills. Out of the thousands of tutors on there, I don’t know why I chose Daiki but he had an energy that was different from other people on the site.
1 year later, we ended up connecting IRL at Namba/Dotonbori, Osaka by the Glico Man sign 😂
Daiki is currently traveling and spreading his love for calligraphy 書道 with the world. In a more traditional society like Japan, it is rare for someone to break off from societal pressure and do his own thing. That’s why I’m a huge fan and I want to see him find his own path to success 🤙🏼
