I’m just a human making music… or am I?
Being an artist and DJ today can feel strange. AI can generate songs, images, stories — almost anything — in seconds. Sometimes I find myself wondering what actually makes me worthy of creating or following, the imperfect human.
So I spend time thinking about the value of what I put out into the world. It starts with what I’d like there to be that I like follow, listen to and explore.
For me, it comes back to the simple thing: the human part. My music is made and played for humans - mostly at least.
At the same time, I’m constantly looking for ways to improve the input — the quality of my work, the tools I use, the ways I build a personal brand, create music, visuals and tell the story.
New tools are appearing everywhere. AI is one of them. Blockchain is opening interesting possibilities too — where artists can start to truly own their brand, their identity and their music in ways that weren’t really possible before.
It’s an exciting time to be creating.
What matters isn’t perfection — it’s the human behind it.

The more I heal, the less ambitious I get.
That might sound strange in a world where we’re constantly told to want more, do more, prove more.
But when I look back at these photos from earlier years, I see someone who was very driven by the need to prove something. To prove I was good enough. To prove I belonged in the rooms I wanted to be in.
And that kind of ambition can push you forward. It certainly pushed me.
But over time something shifts.
As you heal, as you experience the things you once dreamed about, the need to prove yourself slowly becomes less important. Not because the passion disappears. Not because the work stops.
But because the motivation becomes clearer.
The standards become more personal.
The direction becomes more honest.
And what actually matters starts to stand out.
For me, that means focusing on the kind of energy I bring into the world. As a person. As an artist. And through the music I play and create.
Less proving.
More meaning.

What you may or may not know about me?
I started my career in music with drums 🥁
Determined. Stubborn. Curious.
By going deep into rhythm, I didn’t just learn music —
I learned perspective.
The deeper you go, the more you realize there’s no finish line. And that’s the beauty of it.
Drums became part of my identity.
They shaped how I think, feel, and create — all the way to becoming a DJ and music producer today.
@rantalajarkko is one of those people who helped me discover my path.
We started studying together — him as my drum teacher.
More than 10 years later, we created something beautiful together:
The Basics of Rhythm and Drumming — an online course built from those same foundations, made for anyone who wants to truly understand rhythm.
People often ask me how to start learning music.
My answer is always the same:
Listen to your gut.
Start where you are.
Play. Learn. Have fun.
And dare to suck — because you will 🫶
