A couple of years ago, I came across a dress on TikTok that I loved. I wasnāt seeing anyone, but I saved it anyways.
Some time passed, and my mom sent me the same dress. When I told her I had already saved it too, we both just laughed like⦠what are the odds?
Out of curiosity, I looked into it, found the designerā
and realized it was very $$$$. So I let it go.
Fast forward about a year and a half laterāIām engaged and starting to look for bridal shops.
One day I came across
@loveandlacebridalsalon on Instagram. I clicked through, saw a verse in their bio, and I immediately felt alignedāso I reached out.
Because the wedding was coming up soon, they let me know Iād need to do an off-the-rack appointment, meaning Iād be choosing from what they had in-store. There wouldnāt be time to ship something in.
So I booked a morning appointment with them, along with a few others later that day. When we got there, my amazing stylist had pulled three dresses for me.
And one of them⦠looked just like the dress I saw over a year and a half ago.
Not the exact oneābut similar enough that my mom and I just looked at each other. We both knew.
It was the first dress I tried on.
And it was the one I left with.
It was the last one they had in the store. From a designer who no longer ships to the U.S. At a fraction of the price.
I ended up canceling every other appointment that day.
And as I walked out, I couldnāt stop thinking about how God remembered me. He remembered the dress I loved when I was single. The one I saved and forgot about.
And somehow, years later, He placed it right in front of me.
Not one desire was overlooked.
He is such a kind, attentive Father. š¤š¤
