In honor of Asian & Pacific American Heritage Month (May), this month's article discusses Asian influence on New England design, which has quietly shaped the regionâs homes, gardens, and artistic sensibilities for more than a century. The influence of Asian design on New England is ultimately a story of cultural exchange. Rather than replacing local traditions, Asian aesthetics have expanded them, resulting in a regional style that feels both timeless and globally connected. On April 24th, a group of 40â50 corporate volunteers from 8 different companies came together at Auerfarm for a rewarding day of giving back to the community đąđ¤ Representing Infinity Group, Patcraft, and Connect Design through IIDA, volunteers started the morning with coffee and a light breakfast âđĽ before getting to work around the farm.
From washing windows and prepping and painting cottage doors, to laying mulch along walkways and tackling weeding projects, everyone played a part in helping beautify the space. The day wrapped up with a delicious lunch prepared by Chef Kristianne and a shared sense of accomplishment.
It was a beautiful day filled with teamwork, community spirit, and meaningful impact đ Everyone left feeling rewarded for making a difference at Auer Farm! â¨
