Europe 2024 // Started the trip sick after a less than 24h turnaround in SG. Spent my first day dying in bed and working. Got better but continued to work. Woke up daily to 100+ unread messages. My first ever proper food poisoning on my second last day of the trip. Back in SG now, still licking my wounds. & still working. 10/10 would do it again. Ok la, Rome was quite awe-inspiring, Netherlands was pretty as always & being back in UK was food for the soul. Pompeii tho. Pompeii, I would love to head back & nerd out again.

Back in Singapore, but all I can think about is crisp, cold mountain air

Throughout this quarantine, I’ve been trying 10000 different variations of posts to showcase my trip to Norway this autumn. Some were permutations of selected views that my eyes were blessed to see, others were a collation of heart pumping activities or just variations of Bellas in different spaces. But I finally decided on these (not so carefully) curated photos of animals that I got to see and pet and feed; because of all those above mentioned - these sightings were the most spectacular and stroke-of-luck events. I got to feed a F O X. One of the things I could not document, was a moment fishing on the fjord, with the clouds hanging above our heads. So much so, that we could barely see the land around us. It was the water, the boat and the clouds. When a visitor of the seal-y kind, decided to pay us a visit by popping its head out of the water to look at us inquisitively. It’s a moment etched in my mind, a private moment shared between us, the seal and the fjord. That I’m kinda glad I didn’t manage to get a photo of. So it will forever be - our little rendezvous.
