Thinning the Light
Spent some time in Thailand filming nothing but shadows.
No real plan, just watching how the sun cuts through streets and walls and repaints objects on surfaces.
Around the same time I had a conversation with a Buddhist monk about desire, fear and the idea of “enough”.
Later when I looked at the footage again it felt like the images were already pointing there.

🧧Khlong Toei - Vol 2
Most people here are always working, moving from one place to another.
Carrying things, loading, selling, waiting. Then moving again.
It’s hot, crowded, loud. Smells change every few meters.
Food, fuel, waste, all in the same space.
🧧 Khlong Toei - Vol 1
Me and @laura.lavric.cascio went to the famous Khlong Toei market in Bangkok. As one of the biggest markets in Bangkok it spans around 50.000 m2 with very narrow paths, constant movement, noise and mostly hardworking local population.
Everything corner there feels temporary yet highly organized.
