Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of upcoming EPFL first-year students into our lab as part of the preparation week organized by the association Students 4 Students - EPFL.
We introduced them to the iGEM competition, gave an overview of our project, and shared what everyday lab work looks like. The students also had the chance to try out some hands-on techniques from loading an SDS-PAGE gel to streaking bacteria. 🧪🔬
It was inspiring to see their curiosity and enthusiasm, and we’re glad to have contributed to their first steps into the world of life sciences!
