Small culmination of last year’s Hola Escolta through my lens :3 Was only able to visit the 2nd day this time around but nonetheless still enjoyed my time! Saya na babalik-balikan. Kita-kits muli sa susunod!

A set of photos from my 2nd day at Jakarta! :3 Decided to traverse 2 districts by foot and ended up capturing life outside the busy parts of the city. I wouldn’t recommend walking 3+ km in uncharted territory (let alone a slum area of the city) BUT.. hehe it’s something I do enjoy the most.. (swertihan na lang talaga kung lalabas ako ng bohai..) Funnily enough, their Chinatown and Kota Tua (Jakartramuros) is connected/surrounded by an area similar to Quiapo. Coincidence? Who knows. I have photos to go through but all in all, damn I miss my daily neighborhood walks 😔 📷 Ricoh GRIV (edited with Lr)

A Year After — Lokal Roots From starting with intention, to discovering our people, to facing the realities of local production— this journey shaped who we are. This is only the beginning. Salamat sa tiwala. #LokalRoots #FilipinoCraft #SupportLocal

Had the GRIV for over a month now and while mas madalas na ako pumitik as of late, ang overwhelming pala nung accumulation of photos to work on every day. While its true that SOOC JPEGs look rly good, I still have that urge to color grade since I’ve gotten so used to that workflow I have more horizontal shots in the burner but for now, some vertical photos since I rarely take them now.

Spent most of December 31st feeling tired and agonizing the end of 2025. At the time I wasn’t really sure what the cause exactly was. Figured it was my subconscious boggling me with the things I failed to do this year. Was able to get over it thanks to @chris.sia_ and while I was looking over my camera roll, I realized na tama lang naman yung pagod na naramdaman ko 🧍 2025 was a crazy ride. So much things happened and so many other things done and achieved (maybe too much to the point na marami akong nakaligtaan ilagay dito HDJSKD) We can never really have it all kaya oh well hello 2026 me and chris are coming for u 🏃🏃‍♀️

Life lately! I recently bought a GRIV and have been taking it with me everywhere! Ang saya 🥹 It’s as if bata ulit ako discovering photography for the first time. For the longest time, I’ve been utilizing my dad’s gear for everything. Having a camera of my own to take photos… feels really uplifting. I guess mas feel ko lang na akin na yung photos ko (??? I think may sense naman yon HSHFKSKA). It won’t beat an interchangeable lens camera for work-related shoots but I’m glad I have a lighter, stealthier option in my arsenal. Anw! I’ll be sharing more sets down the line c: Maybe some new postcards din 👀 I also have backlogs pending for posting (hehe Hola Escolta and etc). ‘Til then~ :3

Now in its third year, 'Hola, Escolta!' keeps getting bigger and bigger. Previously held on a single day, this year’s iteration stretched out the festival to a full week, offering various programs, activities, and exhibitions for everyone to enjoy. “It’s like an organized chaos,” says architect Arts Serrano (@artsybeaver ), the festival director. On the streets, people lined up to purchase arts and crafts from local artists, to play with the children in the neighboring areas, and to dance to the music. Inside the First United building (@firstunitedbldg1928 ), every floor offered something different: a photo exhibition, free-to-play games, more art markets, music performances, workshops, pop-up shops, and even karaoke. A post to cap this weekend hehe :3 Andami kong naging angle as I was crafting this set pero ultimately, it ended up becoming a blank canvas type of series ulit. Similar in a way to “XX Years (blank)”, i thought “a year of (blank)” would be an interesting way to look back and reflect on our relationship. a year of 2025 felt apt since its our first year (one year na kami??) together and parang it encapsulates the aspect lang of past and present hehe. Kinda sappy and personal? Yeah I know but hey if you’ve known me for some time now, you’d know this is undoubtably me hahahdjsjd anw Love u @chris.sia_

Muntik na ako maging maaga sa pag-post 😬👍🏼 Anw! Last August, brought a camera to CCM’s Anti Gravity Competition while I supported my friends. I’ve been wanting to capture a climbing competition since I gotten into the sport so took the opportunity to do so. Bouldering compet next hopefully 🫡 P.S. These are pretty much all my photos so if you’re a competitor from the event, pls do check CCM’s official album!

I can’t think of set name ideas so I went literal HACJKSKS (was avoiding naming this interns 😭👍🏼) Got to work last yr with an afternoon-evening setting so had to play a lot with handheld flash fills 😬👍🏼 it took me a bit to get the mix right but overall i just love the results 🥹 was able to retain the sky while relatively filling in. Thank u to our previous interns for letting me take photos of u 🧎
