I created this simply to support how we show up for each other when we see friends and peers in abundance seasons. Projections, displaced anger, or comparison happens often because one of the lazy outcomes of capitalism is constant competition. We are all different, have peaks and valleys, and every one is in the middle of a journey. Support, love and care—without judgment—is one of the ways we live out our joy for each other and beat all the signs that tell us to hate and suppress.

What started as real conversations between friends turned into something deeper than we expected. The Carpenter’s Daughter has been a space for honesty, faith, growth, and saying the things we don’t always say out loud.
This finale is a full-circle moment—reflecting on what we’ve learned, what we’re still figuring out, and how far we’ve come.
In this clip, we also get into something heavier—what it means to witness a growing shift in the workforce, as many highly qualified Black and POC professionals are stepping away or being pushed out in the wake of recent executive decisions.
