I was wondering why folks were tagging me and sharing this post I made last year. And then I checked the date. And yes! Happy #BlackWomensEqualPayDay. All day. Every day.

🥁drumroll please🥁 WE MADE IT YALL! The Equity Mindset is available for pre-order. It felt right to pull back out the picture I shared when I was offered a book deal. I’m proud of this girl-now-woman’s journey and honored I get to pull together insights from so many people who live, breathe, and do equity with their full selves. More to come and I’m sure things will get more professional, but I just found out lol so me and Canva had a BLAST putting this little ditty together (it’s cute ☺️ ). link in bio. #theequitymindset #preorder #MyMommaDidTheForeword #thankyouGod #thankyouTribe

I created this simply to support how we show up for each other when we see friends and peers in abundance seasons. Projections, displaced anger, or comparison happens often because one of the lazy outcomes of capitalism is constant competition. We are all different, have peaks and valleys, and every one is in the middle of a journey. Support, love and care—without judgment—is one of the ways we live out our joy for each other and beat all the signs that tell us to hate and suppress.

Season 1 finale is out!🎙️ What started as real conversations between friends turned into something deeper than we expected. The Carpenter’s Daughter has been a space for honesty, faith, growth, and saying the things we don’t always say out loud. This finale is a full-circle moment—reflecting on what we’ve learned, what we’re still figuring out, and how far we’ve come. In this clip, we also get into something heavier—what it means to witness a growing shift in the workforce, as many highly qualified Black and POC professionals are stepping away or being pushed out in the wake of recent executive decisions. It’s a conversation about impact, uncertainty, and the real lives behind the headlines. Thank you for being part of these conversations, for listening, and for growing with us. This is just the beginning. Season 1 finale is out now 🤍

There’s one small part on in one Octavia Butler’s manifestation boards that tugs on me in soft ways. Whenever I see it, I trance a bit. It’s only three words. But it’s an ocean. My latest on substack. IfeomaIke.substack.com

🎙️ Episode 8 of The Carpenter’s Daughter is out now. The current moment is a tense one. From a war where the most vulnerable are targeted to the tragic shooting at a synagogue in Michigan, we are reminded that none of us are safe until we move as if our struggles are intertwined. In this clip, host Ify reflects on a powerful question: What is our common struggle today? And how do we talk about it in the age of erasure? As we confront rising antisemitism, Islamophobia, anti-Blackness, and other forms of oppression, how do we redefine the fight for justice in a way that builds real solidarity? This conversation with Amy Spitalnick of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs explores some the complexity of holding multiple truths while working toward collective liberation. 🎧 Listen to the full episode now.

Salt has a purpose. It’s meant to bring flavor. If it doesn’t… it just gets stepped on. In this moment from Episode 7, special guest Din Tolbert breaks down the deeper meaning behind being the “salt of the earth” and what that teaching is really asking of us. Sometimes the message is simple: If we’re here, we’re meant to make a difference. 🎙️ Episode 7 is live. #linkinbio #hiphop #storytelling #faith
