The 4th edition of French-Up Your Career was a huge success! 🇫🇷🇳🇬 On Saturday, May 2, nearly 200 students from the University of Abuja, Veritas University, Kaduna State University, and Nasarawa State University gathered at the University of Abuja Law Auditorium for a 5-hour forum on how French opens doors to career and academic opportunities. 🎬 Speak Up for Freedom 🎥 Directed by Clément Sibony 🌍 France / Nigeria IFRA, Alliance Française Port Harcourt, and Art in the Garden City, with the support of Institut Français, invite you to a special documentary screening on Monday, June 1st. Various organisations, cultural practitioners, and members of the wider creative and civic community have also been invited for an afternoon of film, conversation, and collective reflection. Speak Up for Freedom follows Nigerian women survivors of trafficking and sexual exploitation as they reclaim authorship over their stories through theatre, testimony, and collective action. Working alongside the Mission of Intervention and Sensitisation against Trafficking (MIST), the film explores how performance becomes a language of resistance, transforming silence into visibility, and memory into power.
