The Curators Project was the first time I let these two images step into a room, after years of living only on screens, through features. Watching strangers and friends pause in front of them was different from seeing them published; it was the work breathing in public for the first time.
Thank you to everyone who came, stood still, and gave the work space to exist beyond me.

Resonant Rhythms (2023)
A commissioned 3-part series by @seiartofficial , where I explored the shared cultural spirit between India and Nigeria.
Through these auctioned off pieces, I wanted to reflect the rhythms that bind us: resilience, love, and resourcefulness. Two places, worlds apart, yet echoing the same heartbeat of community.
A reminder that no matter where we stand, our stories and strengths are deeply connected.

Honored to see ‘Evening Passage’ featured in @photovogue as Today’s ‘Pic of the day’.
First feature of 2025…
As I took a stroll on a path at tarkwa-bay beach Lagos, a boy walks barefoot through the sand, balancing his belongings on his head-a sky bursting with stars, trees glowing in a dreamlike hue.

The Carrier of Echoes.
(2026).
•
In this work, the mundane act of trade is elevated into a surreal ritual of cultural preservation. A figure traverses a landscape, where teal sands meet a burning celestial sky, carrying handcrafted Takouba swords that echo the deep-seated traditions of Northern Nigeria.
I felt a meditation on identity, labor, and the beautiful weight of carrying one’s culture forward into an uncertain horizon.

Emotionally, It was a heavy beach day. At a point during the day I couldn’t carry it all, so I walked towards the water. It held me for a moment…while what looked to me as strength, labor, love, moved steadily beside it as a pair.

Chasing Sunsets — Series II
A quiet moment where boy balancing with the wind as the sunset pulls the world and that singular moment into color. It’s motion, innocence, and light.
Chasing Sunsets —Series I exploring innocence as momentum and sunset as destination: not an ending, but a promise. It is about the tenderness of becoming, the courage to lean into the unknown, and the way memory softens the world into something ethereal. Here, play becomes pilgrimage, and the sky holds space for dreams still in motion.

Born from a fleeting moment on a beach ( chasing sunset, sunset haven at light house tarkwa bay ) at dusk, this piece reimagines childhood play as quiet flight. A simple swing suspended in an endless, silky-pink sky, transforming motion into passage, toward light, toward possibility. The children drift forward as if surfing the air itself, carried by wonder rather than gravity.

Sometime in August I photographed these sisters skipping freely, laughing and chasing sunlight hand in hand on a random afternoon in Gbagada ( Medina estate), the way childhood should always feel.
The news of yet another school abduction in Kebbi is a reminder that in parts of our country, something as ordinary as going to school is still not safe.
This piece is a call for protection, for attention, and for the right of every child to grow without fear.

#ThroughMyLens: Photographer and visual storyteller Ifeoluwa Ehianu Ofulue, known as @ife69 , brings intention to every frame, turning the quiet of everyday life into scenes filled with colour, emotion, and meaning.
Shaped by music, memory, travel, and the legacy of his grandfather’s Kodak cameras, IFE69 creates imagery that blends reality with imagination. His work does not just show what is there. It reveals what we often miss. Each photograph invites you to slow down, to look closer, and to feel the world differently.
Every frame holds its own presence, a soft shift in perspective, a moment reimagined through his eye.

Title: Two of Me After School
This piece reflects on solitude and imagination, how the mind creates company when the world feels empty. It’s about the quiet moments after the noise fades, when play becomes a way to feel seen, even if only by another version of yourself.

Title: Oore ló pé
In the midst of a busy day, I observed the hawker and the truck moving through their rhythm. There was a quiet stillness in that motion, and the scene’s tones and textures carry that calm, capturing a mellow reflection of resilience in everyday life.

Title: Playtime Ends
Just before this, they were running and laughing, no toys, just buckets, sticks, and joy. Then their mum called, “Come inside!”
A simple call from home ends a whole world of imagination. It reminded me of being young too, when “break time” ended and joy had to pause, even if just for a moment.
