Been all over the world but the outback will always have a special place in my heart.
How do I explain to Dutch people what or where the outback is? It’s anywhere between whoop whoop and bum fuck nowhere.
4 months of managing a pub in a town with a population of about 20 people. The nearest supermarket is 100km away, but amidst all of the isolation, you’ll find more community than anywhere else.
It has given me a true appreciation of the resilience that goes into the outback and country lifestyle. Making it up as you go, with all the challenges that come with it, I’m proud to say we’ve got a little bit of “bush people” in us now.
And how happy I am to back in civilisation where you can get a matcha (and haircut) on every corner - it has shaped Michael and I to be stronger people, and I know that we can make it work anywhere together.
We have stories from this town that even scriptwriters can’t come up with.
Cheers to everyone that made our time in Nymagee unforgettable - especially to Blane and Celeste, our amazing bosses!

Babes wake up new chaotic outback vlog just dropped 🏜️🐪. Did you know Australia has the largest population of wild camels? Even though I’ve never actually seen one in the wild in any of my travels? Wonder where they are all hiding.
Also everyone please go to silverton because it’s the randomest place and absolutely fantastic.
Happy snaps from the past few weeks.. hot dog bush walks, enjoying every ray of sun I can find while moving out of our beautiful Pittwater house and saying bye to people I love. Currently homeless (aka living with family) while we prepare for our next adventure ☀️🏕️
