Today we officially inaugurated the Creative Campus in the Palacio de Mansilla, Segovia!
What was once under construction is now a vibrant hub where students from across IE University can create, showcase, and collaborate. Lab spaces to bring visions to life, galleries to welcome inspiring voices and exhibit student work and classrooms built for conversation and multidisciplinary thinking.
Here’s to a new beginning for our creative community. Welcome to your new campus!
The front row has spoken 🎙️
We caught up with IE School of Architecture & Design faculty right before Harvest 2026 kicked off. And the expectations? Sky-high.
Craft. Creativity. A little bit of, "Wow, did they really just do that?"
A story you can wear. ✨
It started one year ago at Harvest Fashion Show, when three Bachelor in Fashion Design students won the chance to design a hoodie for the IE Store.
365 days of sketches, swatches and second drafts later, the Campus Couture hoodie hit the Harvest 2026 runway. 🧵
A collab with @pyratex . Designed by students. Worn as a story.
Now at the IE Store.
At the forefront of creativity and technology ⚡
At OFFF Barcelona, Antonio Daniele joined a global community exploring what’s next in art, design and digital culture.
From AI to immersive experiences, the festival reflects the same shift shaping the future of design, and the context in which the next generation of creatives will work.
Because learning happens where ideas are shared, challenged and reimagined.
What changes when care is at the center of design?
In this conversation, Clara Llamas (@iearch ), Juliane Trummer (@Mormedi ) and Todo Por La Praxis explore how design can move toward more thoughtful, less extractive practices, focusing on longevity, impact and the systems behind what we create.
Because design isn’t just about what we make. It’s about who it’s for, and who it leaves out.
Turning waste into possibility 🌱✨
As part of Earth Month, students pitched innovative ideas to transform everyday waste into new materials and products.
From vape waste turned into sunglasses, to grape waste reimagined as vegan leather and cork upcycled into fashion, this year’s Sustainability Challenge showed how creativity and impact can go hand in hand.
Congrats to the winning teams: Ecovision, Grape Bio-Leather and CorkWear 👏
So… who should take the summer course in Fashion Styling & Media?
Students from last year’s program say it’s for anyone curious about fashion (even with no experience), anyone ready to experiment with their style, and anyone looking for a creative challenge.
Maybe it’s for you.
Learning real estate, on the ground 🇲🇽✨
During their Immersion Week in Mexico, students from the Global Master in Real Estate Development experienced the industry beyond the classroom, exploring projects, cities and local dynamics firsthand.
Through their own lens, this week captures what it means to learn by doing, in a place where theory meets reality.
What happens to creativity in the age of AI and XR?
As tools evolve, so does the role of the designer. It’s no longer just about making, it’s about shaping experiences, orchestrating narratives, and designing how humans and machines interact.
The next generation of designers will think critically, create boldly and work across technologies to redefine what it means to design.
Shaping the future of real estate, together.
At “Women Leading the Future of Real Estate,” leaders from across the industry came together to share experiences, insights and the realities of building a career in the sector.
From personal journeys to strategic decisions, the conversation highlighted the growing impact of female leadership and the importance of opening new paths for the next generation.
Who gets to write the history of architecture?
In this IE Insights clip, Professor Wesam Al Asali challenges the way the architectural history of the Arab world and the Global South has long been told: through a Western, colonial lens.
This conversation is at the core of his newly released book, co-edited with Nadi Abusaada and published by @gtaverlag (ETH Zürich), which revisits modern architecture in the Arab world through overlooked figures, narratives and projects shaped during postcolonial independence.
This research offers a new perspective on architecture, identity and global exchange.

Flamenco ruffles meet Najdi motifs.
Torero structure meets traditional Saudi silhouettes.
Claudia Martínez Larive, student in the Bachelor in Fashion Design & Business Administration at IE University, was invited by Proaltus Capital Partners to collaborate with Maha Alqahtani, a designer selected by the Saudi Fashion Commission, to create a dress shaped by heritage, ceremony, and shared craftsmanship. The garment was exhibited at Ithra’s Spain Cultural Days, an event conceived by Mediapro Events. The collaboration was supervised by our faculty member João Turri.
