I saw @realjamisonjones in ‘The Little Foxes’ last night @southcoastrep ! I owe a lot to this man: During the height of the pandemic, I enrolled in Jamison’s Private Masterclass via Zoom. Two and a half years later, he’s fostered a growth in my artistry that I’m forever grateful for. Because of his mentorship, I’m rising to a level of mastery* in my craft: I’ve cultivated a freedom to play vulnerably and authentically; I now know how to step into the “beingness” of my characters. This transformative “beingness” is what I witnessed in his performance last night; I didn’t see Jamison on that stage, I met Oscar Hubbard. What a phenomenal talent! How fortuitous it was that our paths crossed. I’m a more grounded artist (and person) because of your tutelage. Forever grateful for you, sir! Congrats on a fantastic closing night!
