Organic vines make living wines and good times for those who dine… a handy rhyme. Happy Mother’s Day!

Winter on paper only. In fact it’s a bit of a paradise right now: green grass, seasonal waterfalls all over the Gorge, some confused trees beginning to flower, and a very active frog population.

In quiet hours the tasting room finds other purposes— last week, some blending of the coming vintage. Fundamental to both blending and to the deeper enjoyment of wine is the confidence and capacity to trust your own impressions. On Sunday, March 1st, at 2:00 PM, Brian will host another tasting (likely the final in this series for the season) that aims to do away with assumptions and instill that self-trust. He’ll be your guide in a blind tasting of few wines from around the world, trying always to perceive the wines for what they are, free of preconceived notions. If you are interested in attending, please email [email protected] to make a reservation. We ask for a $20 tasting fee, and will email confirmation to attendees when we have a sizable group.

We’re open! In keeping with what has become a tradition, tastings are complimentary for these first, quiet weeks of the year. We welcome you to make the best of this oddly warm winter and join us.
