A couple years ago, I woke up with a really bad pain in my back. I thought it was nothing but a few trips to the doctor led me to believe that it was actually a pretty serious situation. While my body felt like it was falling apart, I started to try and peace with things because I was scared.
A few months later I found out it was a simple fix and I was good as new.
I wrote this song when I was trying to make peace.

If I could be a little vulnerable (idin) - I was in a rough spot some time ago. I was in a relationship I wasn’t happy with, I was living moments I shouldn’t have lived, I was idolizing and making my present moment my god rather than looking forward to the future I should have been looking towards.
.
I woke up one night to write this song in silence and went to sleep all the same. I was very uneasy and then I walked into the studio with @burchamjoey like normal - he was feeling the same level of heaviness I had been feeling. (not to put you on blast)
But it made me happy in that moment. Not just for the many more moments to look forward to with my loved ones, but moments I had been blessed with in the past - good and bad.

To keep a long story short, we had a night of therapy recording this song as we have with many others, and it was just a special feeling that I wanted to share with all of you. Thankfully the band agreed…
So here you go - an unmixed demo of everything I was feeling alongside some other memos of moments I’ve romanticized through the last few years.
