Just spent an intense and rewarding week in my home town of Scarborough working as the Production Sound Mixer & Boom Op for a new short film. @barnacleshortfilm
Capturing clean, emotive audio for a film centered on three pivotal, "no-turning-back" stories required a lot of focus and a great deal of collaboration. From seaside winds and sea to intimate interiors, we made sure every word and every room tone silence hit home. We even saw Dolphins on the Yorkshire Coast 🐬
Grateful to have been part of such a talented team. I can’t wait to see how this one comes together in the final cut! 🎧✨

Before I started becoming more seriously interested in audio, I studied graphic design at college. I made these works around 2005 but only recently submitted them to a local DIY gallery in Scarborough called Mandy Apple.
Nice to see physical copies in a physical space. The whole exhibition is well worth a look and runs until 1st March.
