ALARM, there is looong read on Instagramš¬
But yeah, well:
The dev market shifted fast. Here's what actually changed in the last 6 to 8 weeks.
74%
of developers worldwide use specialised AI tools at work
+340%
growth in job postings requiring AI coding experience
-17%
postings for pure spec-to-code roles
- Cursor $50B+ valuation
Best deep-codebase integration. Hit $2B ARR. Most widely adopted AI IDE among individual developers.
- Claude Code fast growth
No longer a CLI. Runs in shell, VS Code, JetBrains, as a GitHub Action - one agent across all surfaces.
- Codex (OpenAI) No 1 in April
Cloud-native agent: writes files, runs servers, pushes to GitHub. 240 tokens/sec - tops on throughput.
- OpenCode open source
147K GitHub stars, 6.5M devs/month by April. Supports 75+ LLM providers, including fully local models.
The hottest debate in dev communities is no longer "which tool is smarter?" It's "which one won't burn the budget and produce trusted output on the first run?" Pricing models are now discussed as intensely as capabilities.
Teams of 2 to 3 engineers, paired with agents, are closing the volume that used to require 10. By the end of 2026, 40% of enterprise apps will run task-specific AI agents. That's up from under 5% in 2025.
We're not watching from the sidelines. We build products inside this reality. Drop your questions below. If you have them.

On April 23, our CEO, Oleksandr Romanov, spoke at the Diia. City Union intro meeting - thank you to the community for bringing together so many talented, driven, and professional people in one place. Thanks to you, we discovered a wide range of truly outstanding Ukrainian products and services, and weāre proud to be among them.
Idea Team is a technical partner that helps eliminate common business challenges, such as finding strong developers, overloaded teams, delayed timelines, technical risks, the struggle of choosing the right technologies, and weak architecture, and takes full responsibility for the results.
Weāre excited to grow alongside other Ukrainian companies.
As our CEO, @romanov.oleksandr777 , said:
"Participation in the Business Wisdom Summit confirmed one thing: Ukrainian business has not simply adapted to current conditions. It has mutated and has become something different. Faster. Sharper in decision-making. More precise in priorities."
And it is this kind of business, the one that doesnāt wait, but acts, the one worth working with.
In fast-moving SaaS environments, fintech, healthcare, and beyond - speed is critical, but mis-hires and long ramp-up cycles can quietly slow everything down.
At Idea Team, we built around a simple question: How do you get the right technical people working on your product with zero ramp-up risk?
Our CEO Oleksandr Romanov will be exploring this topic at the upcoming introductory meeting hosted by Diia.City.Union (Thursday, April 23, 5:00 PM, Kyiv). The discussion will also cover the cost of missing market windows while teams are still being assembled, as well as the impact of technical debt.
We look forward to connecting with others in this space. Feel free to DM us.
And here we go again. Our CEO, @romanov.oleksandr777 , has just returned from one event, sharing takeaways and insights, and heās already heading to the next one.
And thatās great. We have plenty to write about š , and even more to implement, test, and improve after these events.
If you happen to be at the Business Wisdom Summit by @ekonomika_plus on April 15, feel free to DM Oleksandr. He loves connecting with people, sharing great insights and ideas, and, after all, weāre all about opportunities together.
On March 24, Idea Team CEO Oleksandr Romanov attended Tech360: Policy Meets Technology, hosted by @itukraineassociation . It was a great opportunity to explore the intersection of tech and policy, gain insights from industry experts, and see how Ukraineās tech future is shaping up.
We were impressed by discussions on innovation, regulation, and industry growth. Thanks to everyone we connected with. An impactful dialogue is about the people and ideas behind it, opening new perspectives and inspiring development.
Zero-bred technical debt.
Speed in software isnāt paid upfront. It shows up later as technical debt.
Most teams ship fast and plan to fix things later. But when product demand grows, thereās no time to rebuild, and the architecture starts to break under pressure. Technical debt isnāt inevitable. Itās a result of early design decisions.
An architecture-first approach changes that:
build systems that scale from day one, treat code as an asset, and avoid costly rewrites later.
Because the real risk isnāt moving fast but itās building something that canāt grow with you.
