You will learn how to draft a standard template and develop pattern pieces for a simple garment. The course also covers basic pattern adaptations to help you achieve an accurate fit.
A follow on course is available where you will use basic sewing skills to construct your garment in calico.

On Thursday 7th May and Saturday 9th May experience a collaboration between Bethnal Green Library and Let’s Discuss Death. This is a free community event designed to open up conversations about death, dying, and grief.
The days will feature a series of engaging and powerful events including talks from a death doulas, an intensive care nurse, and intimate workshops in which you can explore more about grief and bereavement.
