Some of the coolest places have disappeared over the last few decades 😔 This is why it’s so important to continue supporting the businesses that we want to stick around! Keep Tulsa, Tulsa!
We’d love to read your 90s Tulsa memories! Care to share?
Steve Ripley saved most of his answering machine tapes throughout the years. Here’s a gem from JJ Cale calling The Church Studio from Camelot Inn in the early 90s.
The Camelot Inn, a hotel in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was known for its medieval castle design and was once a popular destination. It opened in 1965 and was demolished in 2007. The hotel featured a moat, drawbridge, turrets, a throne, and a replica of Excalibur. It was also known as the Camelot Hotel and later, the Camelot Parkside Hotel.

Who has a loved one graduating this month? Make sure they know how proud you are of their hard work! If you need to stop into Ida Red to grab a last minute gift, we’ve got just the thing!
We abducted one of our favorite Tulsans, @evanbhughes , off of the sidewalk yesterday! We agreed he could leave if he modeled these new Route 66 digs for our socials. Do you think these photos were worth all that effort? 🤔
So which celebrity would YOU share a pizza with?
The folks over at @IdaRedStore on Brookside certainly had some interesting answers, but personally, we're picking Eddie the Yeti. Sorry Cher!
